OUR PROCESS

We make our skin care product range in an eco-friendly & sustainable manner by adding value to the world around us.

Sustainable Skincare

As we add value to our products, we aim to add value to the world around us.

We strive to be sustainable and regenerative as a company. To do this, we always aim to give more back to the world than we take out. Transparency is essential in today's world, which drives us to share our manufacturing process with our customers so you can see the advantages of our products, both in terms of quality and sustainability.

Concerned by pollution in the sea and the human impact on the marine eco-system, we grow and harvest our red algae in specially designed pools within greenhouses. This not only guarantees the purity of the Algae from the pollution of the sea but also means that the eco-balance of the ocean is not disturbed by uncontrolled harvesting.

For superior results, this part of the process is carried out at the optimal hour of the day in order to maximize the levels of nutrients absorbed by the algae, delivering products of exceptional quality.

We Plant a Tree with Every Order

By purchasing a Seacra® product, you are helping to replenish native trees and help alleviate extreme poverty through our ‘employ to plant’ environmental partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects. Our commitment to planting a minimum of 100.000 native trees in Madagascar has already been made. This specific region has been ravaged by illegal logging and clear cutting that has destroyed the natural ecosystem.

The deforestation resulting from illegal logging and clear cutting reduces the environment for animals and the reduction of rainforests has been shown to have a direct connection to global warming. In addition to the impact trees and rainforests have on the environment, they also have a direct impact on the people that rely on them.

The wages that are earned empower men and women who have been exposed to human trafficking, extreme poverty, or lived as refugees. They are able to support their families and work on small plot farms. Their job is very specific – reforest their nation.

For every Seacra® product purchased a donation is made, a donation that results in the planting of another tree.

Giving Back To The Environment

100% handmade soap bar

We want Seacra to be the number one sustainable choice for your skin and for our planet.

As we pump salt water from the sea for algae growth, it is returned to it with the same consistency.

And since our cold press process does not adversely affect the residual algae, it is returned as well to the sea once the job is complete.

By growing the red algae, we are able to lower the carbon dioxide levels in the air through photosynthesis, thereby making a positive environmental impact.

We're committed to protecting the environment by reducing our carbon footprint and by giving back to nature.

MADAGASCAR

Madagascar is more than just an island from an animated movie. It’s a nation with over 200,000 species of plants and animals that don’t exist anywhere else in the world. But more than 90% of Madagascar’s original forests have been destroyed, displacing entire animal species and taking away the Malagasy’s ability to farm and live on the land. Entire mangrove estuaries are gone, leaving the bare earth to wash away into the sea. And now the Malagasy people have no choice but to go into debt or sell themselves and their families into slavery just to survive.

Our Impact Goals

Tree Planting

We’ve planted already 25,000 trees since we start in 2021 and a commitment to plant minimum 100,000 trees has been made.

Clean Chemistry

Our ingredients are 100% natural, organic and locally sourced with zero harmful chemicals or materials.

Waste Reduction

We first reduce our intake of waste and make our packaging options 100% recyclable with Re/Fill option included.

Renewable Energy

We aim to be powered by 100% renewable energy by the end of 2030.
